I was with people I knew to go to this supposedly fancy event to read chapters of a story. I was woth Bren, Emerson, my past crush who is wesley, and another past crush, alexi. We were talking and stuff before we got there. We all laughed. Whenever I spoke, though, Alexi was always looking at me. Laughing at ny jokes, or just staring at me for no apparent reason. We were discussing his mother, my friend Honda and I, sitting in a triangle with him, and she came to the event moments later. I slowly turned to Honda, and then him, with a devious look on my face, and Alexi playfully, lightly pinched my nose. I said his mom was hot; and I wasn't wrong. His mother had some sort y2k hairstyle with very short bangs and deeply black hair, a tattoo on her face, and a nice smile. His fathe appeared too, and I assume he went to go talk to them. After this, I was called down by the annocements by my legal name, and told that they were almost going to import me, before they found out I was a minor. It was for some big education rant. After that, I was allowed to go back to my seat. And when I was, a man who was reading the story went insane. He kept talking about outragous things and was scaring everybody we thought that he'd end the world. He put us in a lot of danger and was clearly in a crisis. My mother also knew I was on this trip, and wanted me babysat by the three black women with long hair that called me down from the announcements. My hair was braided long too. In a picture, it appeared to be me, turning around and smiling. Alexi was taking a picture of it, for a reason I don't know why. When walking back to our seats, I said that picture isn't me. Even though it was close to looking like me. After that, on my technology, my phone, specifically, I had taken pictures of what appeared to be a fake me on a poster. My phone logged me out of my discord acount, and as I was just about to go up and enter is, this woman appears. She's asking for my member number. I clearly scramble, looking confused, and then I just say the one that's on my table, which is 13.0. She doubts me, getting suspicous that I'm not an actual member and asks if I'm sure that's the righr number, to which I respond yes. After that, she asks me if I'm nervous. She then asks, "are you nervous because this next story is about ashton?" Ashton is my best friend, for context. And I hadno idea how she knew him. He wasn't anywhere at the event. I checked. Numerous times. We started reading a chatper on the big screen, and the old kan reading it was rushing through it with a tons of better resentment in his voice. The pages were digitalized on the screen. And he was flipping through page atter page after page, as if he had something to lose. Anyway, Ashton's story never came. It wasn't told. After that encounter, an old man on the stage made a remark, and my friend Emerson says "It's okay, sage's personality is just as bland." In response, I say "shut the fuck up," and started laughing with the crowd as well. When Alexi laughed, I felt something. That something was joy. I felt like I'd regained feelings for him again.I don't recall what happened after this moment.
Dreams often meld together elements of our waking lives, subconscious thoughts, and emotions, weaving them into complex narratives that can reflect our innermost feelings, conflicts, and desires. Your dream features a variety of themes: connection with friends, the influence of past crushes, self-identity dilemmas, fears of exposure, and societal expectations.
Here are some potential interpretations of your dream:
Social Dynamics and Relationships: Being surrounded by past crushes like Wesley and Alexi suggests that you're navigating your feelings about romantic interests and social interactions. Alexi's attention to you—a playful and positive sign—could indicate that you are open to reconnecting with feelings or exploring romantic possibilities. The laughter shared among friends suggests a desire for deeper connections and an appreciation for camaraderie.
Self-Image and Identity: The moment involving the woman questioning your membership might symbolize insecurities about your identity or role in various social situations. The “fake you” on a poster could signify a struggle with how you perceive yourself versus how others see you. This aspect of the dream can reflect a fear of not belonging or being recognized for who you truly are.
Anxiety and Performance: Being called down by your legal name at the event may suggest some anxiety about being judged or scrutinized by others, especially in a public setting. The threat posed by the man reading the story could symbolize feelings of chaos or vulnerability in your life. His outburst might represent anxieties about external pressures or fears of losing control.
Connection to Ashton and Emotional Depth: The mention of Ashton indicates a poignant emotional thread woven into your experience. Ashton’s absence at the event, combined with the old man’s comments, could symbolize the frustration of having your own important stories or connections overlooked or the feeling that significant aspects of your life aren’t being acknowledged.
Joy and Reconnection: The joy you felt when Alexi laughed signifies the possibility of rekindling past emotions and the excitement of new connections. This might reflect a deep-seated desire for love, acceptance, or understanding in your life.
In essence, your dream illustrates a rich tapestry of social interactions, self-reflection, and deep emotional currents. It urges you to explore your relationships, insecurities, and the emotional resonance of people in your life, encouraging you to embrace connections that bring you joy and help you understand your evolving identity.
